THE PRODUCER: Located in the middle of the Mantiqueira mountain range, Fazenda Rio Verde has been producing coffee for over 130 years. Surrounded by 773 hectares of virgin forest, waterfalls, and rich volcanic clay soils, the farm is a natural sanctuary dedicated to high-quality coffee.

THE COFFEE: Cultivated above 1,000 MASL across the farm's top 32 terroirs, the Ipanema Premier Cru represents four years of research into varietals, maturation, and processing. Utilizing Yellow Bourbon, Yellow Catuaí, and Red Acaiá, state-of-the-art facilities guarantee consistent, exceptional microlot harvests every year.

THE PRODUCER Grown organically on a secluded, highly biodiverse coffee island in the middle of Rwanda's Lake Kivu. Privately owned and cultivated by Emmanuel Rwakagara, the founder of the Fair Trade-certified COOPAC cooperative.

THE COFFEE Grown under dense, protective forest shade, the island’s complete isolation naturally safeguards the trees from typical mainland pests. Harvested at peak ripeness, the lot undergoes a rigorous multi-stage processing method: depulped, dry & wet fermented, washed, soaked, and finally sun-dried on raised beds.

Recently we linked up with our legendary Burleigh neighbors at Kuki Coffee for Round 2 of our epic roasting experiment. We split a massive lot of organic single-origin beans down the middle to see how our traditional fire-fuelled drum roaster here in Miami would stack up against their hot-air setup.

The verdict? Total flavor anarchy… and you legends drank the absolute lot!

Timor coffee is one of the few origins on the planet featuring a distinct, naturally occurring hybrid varietal; part Robusta, part Arabica!
This unique crossover gives the plant an exceptional tolerance to disease and drought while retaining the absolute superior taste qualities of Arabica.

This coffee is boasting a fabulous syrupy sweetness and a heavy peanut body, followed by a rich cocoa finish. This one is explicitly for the lovers of a rich-bodied, punchy roast!
